چکیده
The energy of a graph is the sum of the absolute values of the eigenvalues of its adjacency matrix. Two graphs are equienergetic if they have the same energy. We construct infinite families of graphs equienergetic with edge-deleted subgraphs.

On the Wiener Index of Some Edge Deleted Graphs
The sum of distances between all the pairs of vertices in a connected graph is known as the {it Wiener index} of the graph. In this paper, we obtain the Wiener index of edge complements of stars, complete subgraphs and cycles in $K_n$.
متن کاملOn Zagreb Energy and edge-Zagreb energy
In this paper, we obtain some upper and lower bounds for the general extended energy of a graph. As an application, we obtain few bounds for the (edge) Zagreb energy of a graph. Also, we deduce a relation between Zagreb energy and edge-Zagreb energy of a graph $G$ with minimum degree $delta ge2$. A lower and upper bound for the spectral radius of the edge-Zagreb matrix is obtained. Finally, we ...
متن کاملPerfect Matchings in Edge-Transitive Graphs
We find recursive formulae for the number of perfect matchings in a graph G by splitting G into subgraphs H and Q. We use these formulas to count perfect matching of P hypercube Qn. We also apply our formulas to prove that the number of perfect matching in an edge-transitive graph is , where denotes the number of perfect matchings in G, is the graph constructed from by deleting edges with an en...
متن کاملMaximal proper subgraphs of median graphs
For a median graph G and a vertex v of G that is not a cut-vertex we show that G − v is a median graph precisely when v is not the center of a bipartite wheel, which is in turn equivalent with the existence of a certain edge elimination scheme for edges incident with v. This implies a characterization of vertex-critical (respectively, vertex-complete) median graphs, which are median graphs whos...
متن کاملGraph Reconstruction
In 1941 Kelly and Ulam proposed the Graph Reconstruction Conjecture, and it has remained an open problem to this day[3]. The Graph Reconstruction Conjecture states simply that any simple finite undirected graph on 3 or more vertices can be uniquely identified (up to isomorphism) by the multiset of its unlabeled 1-vertex-deleted subgraphs. There are no known counter-examples to the Conjecture, a...
